Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies are everybody’s favorite and are super easy to make. These are soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside with the perfect chewy centre. Placed in gift bags and tied with ribbon they make the perfect gift too.
Ingredients:
2 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 sticks of butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
2 cups of milk chocolate chips
Directions:
1.) Cream the butter and sugar together for a good 5-7 minutes till the butter and sugar is soft and fluffy.
2.) Add the eggs, lowering the speed of your mixer. Stir in the vanilla.
3.) Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl. Fold into the butter mixture until all combined.
4.) Add the chocolate chips. Spoon into even sized balls and place on a cookie sheet about 3-4 inches apart.
5.) Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes or until the outside is golden. Place on a wire rack to cool. The cookie will crispen up once it cools. Serve!
